Web Development

The development of your website deals with the code element of your website, and is used to 'realise' the design concept into a working and interactive environment. Unless there is a specific requirement to provide a website to a client in a specific format (such as Macromedia Dreamweaver, Microsoft Front page or Adobe Go Live) we will hand code your website. This enables us to keep the lines of code to a minimum and the integrity of the site to a very high standard. All of our hand code is validated to W3C validation standard and complies to all relevant standards.

What is achieved during the hand coding stage?

All website projects have goals. The project brief examines these goals in fine detail and our project proposal(s) will approach solutions for these goals. During the development stage, solutions will be applied to the design template. For instance, you may have a goal to achieve a top 10 search engine position for your website, to install an e-commerce (webshop) website, or to be able to update your own site via a user friendly content management system (CMS). All of these development options have their own coding requirements. Of course, the code can be written to cater for multiple goals.
